BOKWA
Well done to all of those who braved the first month’s launch of BOKWA! It was great to see so many of our members show up to support Ryan and the Studio in its new venture and WOW what a work out it’s proved to be!!!
We can announce that the lucky winner of the Freed Trainer Competition is the lovely, Sue Maughan! Congratulations – we hope you continue to enjoy your prize by attending the BOKWA class!
For all those that missed out, the class runs every Monday at 8 pm (after Zumba)
Prices for members are £9 / class
with a discounted entry of £15 if you attend Zumba and BOKWA
STRICTLY COME DANCING
As you all know, October sees the long anticipated return of Strictly Come Dancing 2011. This year is extra special with everyone’s favourite Champion, Karen Hardy herself providing live commentary, every single Saturday on the live show.
So this time you really cannot miss it! We will also be screening recordings of the Live show, every other week at The Rumba Lounge – it really will be the place to be on a Saturday night for all you dance enthusiasts.
Alongside Strictly, we will be hosting a spooky hell-ride of a Rumba Lounge on Saturday 29 October 2011. As you have probably guessed, this will be Halloween themed, with costumes, compulsory for entry.
A prize will be issued to best costume of the night.
CHRISTMAS AT THE STUDIO
Although we have not yet reached October, here at the Studio we can never wait for the excitement of Christmas. Before you know it, those trees will be up and the mulled wine served to ensure the festivity of the season extends all the way into your dance lessons.
Don’t forget, that with its Swarovski crystal wall paper, glittery mirror balls and beautiful interior, Karen Hardy Studios is the perfect place for a Christmas celebration! So whether you are looking to plan an office party / corporate treat / or a family affair – we can cater to all your needs

EXCLUSIVE NEWS!
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!……………….Strictly is not the only TV Dance Show catching our eye at the moment, a certain Judge on “Got to Dance” was spotted dancing at the Studio with the rest of his team! A few lucky members were lucky enough to spot the talented Ashley Banjo and his fellow members of Diversity practising their amazing skills!
It just goes to show, you never know who you might bump into at the Studio!
AND FINALLY…….
Although we are firm advocators of health and fitness at the Studio, we all agree that a treat is needed from time to time – especially with the colder nights drawing in! Therefore we are delighted to announce our new homemade cakes which will be on sale in the lounge area, daily. These cakes really are to die for and are made especially with love, from one of our very own members – Caroline Sampson. So be sure to try some next time you are in. (Only one slice though……..we will be watching you!!!)
